Viewers were invited to sit on the back seat of my 50-year old MG Magnette to watch Still Life, a short film about the car’s life.
Using photographs donated by some of the previous owners, with a narrative combining fact and fiction - the work explores ideas of collective memory and the family archive.
The work was exhibited at The Towner Gallery in Eastbourne as part of The East Sussex Open in 2015. It was also nominated for the Magnum/PhotoLondon Graduate Photography award, and shortlisted for Bloomberg New Contemporaries.
